Java Full Stack Engineer with Python and AWS
About The Position
In the assigned job role of Technology Consultant 1, you will contribute across much of the software development lifecycle. You will gather and document stakeholder needs, participate in design discussions, develop and document software, execute tests, support feature integration, and monitor and troubleshoot live applications. The role also involves documenting coding practices, testing methods, and technical solutions for the team’s knowledge repository. The position is part of Infosys Financial Services, which works with financial institutions on digital transformation using technologies including AI, cloud, and data-led innovation. Projects may span banking, wealth management, and insurance. The role may require relocation and/or travel to a work or project location. Requirements
- Experience in full-stack software engineering with proficiency in Java and Angular.
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Experience building and scaling applications on AWS.
- Experience with AWS core services including EC2, SNS, SQS, Lambda, and CloudWatch.
- Experience and good knowledge of Spring, Spring Boot, and Angular.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of each year of education.

Nice To Haves
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and test automation frameworks.
- Experience with GitLab and Terraform.
Responsibilities
- Conduct targeted interviews and workshops to capture user needs and accurately document stakeholder requirements.
- Participate in design discussions to capture software specifications and help create process documentation.
- Develop, refine, and document code for software applications in accordance with design specifications and user requirements.
- Execute test plans, analyze outcomes, and report defects to the development team.
- Support integration of new software features into existing system infrastructure.
- Monitor and troubleshoot live applications, resolve issues promptly, and create maintenance documentation.
- Document coding practices, testing methodologies, and technical solutions for the team's knowledge repository.
- Monitor and resolve production issues proactively.
- Contribute across the software development lifecycle and share knowledge with the team.
