About The Position

CTG is seeking to fill a Java Full Stack Developer position for our client. This role involves designing, developing, testing, implementing, and supporting enterprise applications using Java/JEE and modern web technologies. The developer will focus on full-stack applications, particularly Java backend services and ReactJS user interfaces, and will also be responsible for integrating Java Web Services and enterprise application components. The position requires utilizing Java Talon and Talon Batch technologies, developing event-driven integrations with Apache Kafka, and implementing core enterprise application capabilities such as transaction management, dependency injection, inversion of control, and data access. A strong emphasis is placed on applying software development best practices, including functional programming, test-driven development, and automated testing, to create scalable and maintainable solutions. The role also includes participating in application troubleshooting, debugging, performance tuning, and production support, collaborating with various stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle, and adhering to DevOps practices for continuous integration, delivery, and automated deployment. Creating and maintaining technical documentation is also a key responsibility.

Responsibilities
