Java Full Stack Developer
About The Position
The Information Technology (IT) Applications, Medicaid/CHIP Systems (IT-MCS) team is developing a new web-based application for HHSC Contract Administration and Provider Monitoring (CAPM). The selected candidate must possess knowledge and experience in web application architecture, development, and implementation with JAVA/J2EE, Angular, Spring Boot, Bootstrap, IBM WebSphere, and Oracle databases in an Agile project development environment. You will support the application development through coding, testing, code peer reviews, documentation, defect root cause analysis and troubleshooting as required. Selected candidate must be available for on-call support as needed and perform other duties as required for the project.
Requirements
- Full Stack Developer in Java
- Writing SQL for Oracle relational databases
- Spring Boot with Spring Data JPA, Spring Security
- Angular with Node JS
- Maven and auto-build processing
- Software development using Agile methodology
- Healthcare Experience
Nice To Haves
- Experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server
- Experience with Texas Health and Human Services or other State Agency
Responsibilities
