About The Position

We are seeking a Java Full Stack Developer for our Columbus, OH location. This role requires a clear communicator who is curious and embraces continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will independently deliver high-quality, testable, and maintainable code within planned timeframes. Responsibilities include designing and building support for non-functional requirements such as security, performance, resiliency, fault-tolerance, monitoring, alerting, reporting, etc. The role involves applying system thinking and methodologies to decompose complex use cases into elegant solutions, and analyzing, designing, developing, and troubleshooting with consideration of upstream and downstream systems and technical implications. The candidate will drive requirements discussions with a consultative and solution-oriented approach, with the ability to influence. They will also apply knowledge of tools within the SDLC toolchain to apply automation and contribute to a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
  • Multiple years of recent experience with Angular, TypeScript, CSS, HTML required
  • Professional coding experience with Java, Spring Boot, JPA, SQL, REST
  • Strong React experience
  • Ability to relocate to Columbus from day 1
