About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Java Full Stack Developer to join our team in Dallas, TX for a 6+ month contract. This role involves designing and developing scalable microservices architectures, leading testing strategies, and collaborating with development teams to establish best practices. You will also mentor junior developers, work with stakeholders to gather requirements, and evaluate new technologies to enhance our microservices ecosystem. Ensuring adherence to security and compliance standards, and participating in architectural discussions are key aspects of this position.

Requirements

• Proven experience in microservices architecture and design.
• Strong proficiency in Java and related frameworks.
• Expertise in microservices testing methodologies and tools.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• 7 10 years of experience in software development and architecture.
• Proven track record of successful project delivery in a technical leadership role.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• API and Microservices Knowledge of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
• Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant certifications in cloud technologies or microservices architecture are a plus.
