About The Position

CTG is seeking to fill a Java Full Stack Developer – React, Kafka position for our client. This is a remote, 12-month contract role. The developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting enterprise applications using Java/JEE and modern web technologies. This includes building scalable backend services, Java Web Services, APIs, and enterprise application components, as well as creating responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using ReactJS. The role also involves developing and supporting Talon and Talon Batch applications and integrations, and designing and implementing event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka. The developer will apply Java development frameworks and programming practices, implement data access, transaction management, and batch processing solutions, and integrate applications with enterprise systems and external services. Participation in test-driven development, code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization is expected, along with following DevOps methodologies and contributing to CI/CD, automated testing, deployment, and application support. Collaboration with business analysts, architects, developers, and other technical teams is key to delivering high-quality solutions.

Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, remote development environment.

Responsibilities
