About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Java Developer to support the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-level and government systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong Java expertise along with experience in complementary technologies within a structured, compliance-driven environment.

Requirements

Secret clearance, TS eligibility
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
5 yrs of experience in Java development with strong proficiency in Java (JDK 8 or higher)
Core understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
Experience with: Java Collections Framework Multithreading and concurrency Exception handling best practices
Hands-on experience with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks
Experience with Hibernate/JPA for database interactions
Familiarity with API integrations (RESTful and web services)
Hands-on experience with Eclipse IDE
Familiarity with IntelliTrack Entellitrak platform
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes
Experience supporting enterprise-level or government systems
Working knowledge of Microsoft technology stack, including: .NET framework C#, Visual Basic (VB)
Experience with SQL Server 2017 (or newer) and T-SQL

Nice To Haves

Experience with reporting and UI tools such as Jaspersoft Studio and DevExpress
Familiarity with hybrid technology environments integrating Java and .NET solutions
Experience working in Agile or hybrid development environments
Knowledge of secure coding practices and government compliance standards (e.g., NIST, FISMA)
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
Experience with relational databases and data modeling

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java-based applications supporting government and enterprise systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, and system administrators to deliver high-quality solutions
Develop and integrate APIs to support interoperability and secure data exchange
Contribute to system architecture, technical design, and documentation efforts
Ensure application performance, security, and reliability through adherence to best practices
Support application deployment through CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve system defects and production issues
Ensure compliance with government standards, policies, and security requirements
