About The Position

We are seeking a talented Junior/Mid-level Java Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in Java development, with a strong focus on Spring, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices. You will be instrumental in developing and optimizing our backend systems, ensuring high performance and scalability. Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP), is highly desirable, as is familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in Java development.
• Strong experience with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices.
• Advanced experience with Java/System Performance Tuning.
• Advanced experience with Kubernetes (K8s).
• Hands-on Docker experience.
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience.
• Hands-on cloud experience (GCP preferred).
• Experience with GCP services (Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, BigQuery).
• Knowledge of Prometheus.
• Knowledge of Grafana.
• Knowledge of New Relic.
• Knowledge of Oracle/PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of Linux.
• Knowledge of Git.
• Knowledge of Maven/Gradle.
• Knowledge of CI/CD.

Nice To Haves

• Retail or e-commerce industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust Java applications using Spring and Spring Boot.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Optimize Java/System performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Work with GCP services such as Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, and BigQuery.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
