Java Developer (Fullstack)
About The Position
Our client, a leading global financial institution, is seeking a Java / Python Developer to join the Canada Bonds and Rates Technology Team. This role is a critical backfill supporting the development and enhancement of low-latency trading systems, automation tools, and scalable technology solutions within the Fixed Income and Equities (FICC/EQ) space. Working closely with Trading, Risk, and Analytics teams, the successful candidate will help deliver high-performance applications that support pricing, risk management, market connectivity, workflow automation, and electronic trading initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, market-driven environment where technology plays a critical role in business success.
Requirements
- Strong programming expertise with Java or C++ for building low latency systems
- Strong Python application development experience, including scripting, automation, and data analysis.
- Frontend Development experience with Angular/React
Nice To Haves
- Experience with real-time messaging and SQL.
- Understanding of Equity derivative business and Quartz application development.
- Working experience with complex systems (grid, object oriented database, Oracle, etc.)
