About The Position

We are seeking a hands-on Java Lead Developer with extensive experience in backend development, microservices, and AI. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of IT experience, with a strong focus on coding and leading development teams. This role requires significant experience with Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and Spring Batch, as well as experience managing onshore, offshore, and nearshore teams. The position is based in Austin, TX, with a requirement for 3 days a week in the office, starting on day one.

Requirements

10+ years of IT experience.
7+ years of hands-on experience in Java, Microservices, Spring Boot, and Kafka.
Hands-on experience with Spring Batch.
Hands-on experience in current projects.
Hands-on working experience in Agile Methodologies.
Strong and hardcore backend project development experience and API experience.
Experience in managing onshore/offshore and nearshore models (at least 2 years).
Good Communication skills.
Must be legally authorized to work in the US without employer sponsorship.
Local candidates to Austin, TX preferred.

AI experience.
Experience with Angular.
