About The Position

CGI is seeking to hire a Senior Java AWS Developer, who will work in a team with highly motivated team environment and with all the standard methodologies and processes followed to complete the project. A driven team environment which helps to build their career with healthcare confirmed experience and with technical, analytical skills. This excellent opportunity can be performed in Bloomfield, CT (preferred), Raleigh, NC, Dallas, TX, Austin, TX, Lafayette, LA in a Hybrid Model.

Requirements

At least years of software development experience: .
Strong experience in Java (Java 8/11/17+)
Proficiency in frameworks like Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate
Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and web services
Solid understanding of microservices architecture
Knowledge of database systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
Familiarity with version control tools like Git
Understanding of cloud architecture and deployment models
Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration (Kubernetes is a plus)
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation/Terraform is a plus)
Familiarity with monitoring tools like CloudWatch

Nice To Haves

Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway)
Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
Knowledge of security standards (OAuth2, JWT)
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
Basic understanding of DevOps practices

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java technologies
Build RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
Collaborate with frontend teams, DevOps, and product managers to deliver features
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices
Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization
Ensure application security, reliability, and scalability
Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) for data storage and retrieval
Implement CI/CD pipelines and support deployment processes
