About The Position

Trident Consulting is seeking a Java Back End Developer for a client in Austin, Texas. This role is described as a contract position with hybrid work in Austin. The Backend Engineer will lead the design, development, and scaling of core business services and APIs, focusing on robust, high-performance backend engineering using Ruby on Rails. As the platform scales toward distributed microservices, the role will also interface with services written in multiple languages. Java and Go (Golang) experience or familiarity is an advantage.

Requirements
