About The Position

Hands-on senior developer building and owning microservices and front-end integrations using Spring Boot 4.0., JDK 17/21/25, Hibernate/JPA or MyBatis , and Angular. Deliver high-quality, tested code and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Strong Java skills with experience on JDK 25 (or recent versions) and Spring Boot 3.x.
• Practical Hibernate/JPA or Mybatis experience — mappings, transactions, caching, performance tuning.
• Front-end experience with Angular: building components, services, and integrating RESTful APIs and Batch processing.
• Experience with AWS services for application deployment (ECS/EKS, RDS/Aurora, S3, IAM).
• Containerization knowledge (Docker) and basic Kubernetes exposure.
• Solid testing skills: JUnit, Mockito, integration test frameworks, and contract testing (e.g., Pact).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines and experience committing to automated deployments.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of messaging systems (Jms, Kafka/SQS) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain microservices using Spring Boot 3x and JDK 17/21/25, Gradle/Maven
• Implement data models and persistence using Hibernate/JPA or MyBatis; write efficient queries and tune ORM.
• Collaborate with front-end developers (Angular) to implement robust APIs and fix integration issues.
• Build automated tests (unit, integration, contract tests) and participate in code reviews.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, container images and deployment manifests.
• Implement logging, metrics and support observability for services.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement root-cause fixes.
• Mentor peers, contribute to technical documentation and runbooks.
