About The Position

We are seeking a highly experienced Java Architect with a strong background in application development within an AWS cloud environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, coding, testing, and maintaining Java/J2EE applications. This role requires a subject matter expert capable of client interaction, requirement analysis, team guidance, and ensuring timely delivery. Proficiency in AWS solution implementation, Terraform, and an understanding of banking product architecture are mandatory.

Requirements

• 10+ years of strong application development work experience using Java/J2EE in an AWS cloud environment.
• Solid application design, coding, testing, maintenance, and debugging skills.
• Experience with Junit and Cucumber testing.
• Experience with APM Monitoring tools and logging tools like Splunk.
• AWS solution implementation hands-on experience is mandatory.
• Subject matter expert with experience interacting with clients, understanding requirements, and guiding the team.
• Documenting requirements clearly with defined scope.
• Must play an anchor role in setting right expectations and delivering as per schedule.
• Terraform and infra expertise is mandatory.
• Banking products architecture understanding and experience is mandatory.

Nice To Haves

• Agile environment experience preferred.
• Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence.
