About The Position
The Java Application Support Engineer supports Vehicle Processing Center (VPC) system operations in Savannah, Georgia. Requirements
- Approximately 5 years of Java development or application support experience.
- Ability to troubleshoot and maintain Java-based applications.
- Ability to understand operational workflows and investigate system or data issues.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with operational and technical teams.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
Responsibilities
- Support the daily operation of VPC applications and vehicle tracking systems.
- Monitor system functionality and verify vehicle movement, location, and status information.
- Investigate application issues and data discrepancies affecting daily operations.
- Troubleshoot system problems and coordinate resolution with relevant technical teams.
- Perform Java application maintenance and updates as needed.
- Communicate with users to understand issues and provide technical assistance.
- Support testing of system changes and confirm that functions operate as expected.
- Maintain operational records and document issues, resolutions, and system changes.
