About The Position

Under general supervision, the janitorial crew is responsible for providing a clean and sanitary surrounding for the employees and public while abiding by all safety guidelines; promotes sanitary conditions that prevent the spread of infection and odor. Must be able to work efficiently, self-motivated, and take direction well.

Requirements

• Ability to repetitively lift heavy equipment of 50 lbs.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
• Positive attitude when working others.
• Knowledge of employment, safety, and warehouse policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain main facility, as well as corporate offices, and locations not on campus in a sanitary and infection free condition through washing, cleaning, and replacement of equipment.
• Responsible for the disposal of trash.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
• Perform other related work as required.
