The Customer Care Technician works in a biomedical laboratory and manufacturing facility performing a variety of environmental service duties to support our customers by caring for the offices and common areas as well as supporting the maintenance and sterility of the laboratories, equipment, and storage areas. This role involves supporting customers through cleaning and sanitizing common areas, restrooms, locker rooms, cafeterias, warehouse, and storage areas to ensure the facility is cleaned and in good condition for routine daily activities. The technician will also ensure all laboratories and equipment are clean, disinfected, and ready for production and testing of sterile medical products. Additionally, the role includes stocking and organizing supplies for all required areas and operating Microsoft Applications (for charting, email, training, etc.) and other computer-based systems utilized in the facility. The technician will follow standard procedures and execute activities independently, as well as in a team environment, and complete documentation in a regulated environment such as completing logbooks, training, and communicating with other groups on equipment maintenance activities and special cleanings.

Requirements

  • Minimum of high school diploma, or equivalent
  • Reliable, hardworking team player
  • Ability to use Microsoft computer applications for communication, emails, and training
  • Ability to pass a full physical as well as a drug test to work in a physically active role.
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours/day in a physically active role

Nice To Haves

  • Strong customer service skills, ability to work independently, and strong attention to detail
  • Experience performing housekeeping responsibilities, or custodial or sanitization in a medical, laboratory, or a clean room environment
  • Good communication skills (both written and verbal)

Responsibilities
