Janitorial Technician
About The Position
The YMCA of Pueblo is looking for Summer Staff for our resident camp at Camp Jackson. Camp Jackson is looking for a Janitorial Technician who will enthusiastically represent the YMCA by displaying a positive attitude, maintain a high level of energy and commitment to quality throughout all aspects of the job through the four-character values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. The Janitorial Technician will create a safe and positive atmosphere that keeps our facilities safe and clean and assist with dishwashing before/after meals. This is a seasonal position. This job announcement is not intended to be inclusive of all functions, responsibilities and qualifications associated with the position, however, representative of the essential job functions and typical criteria considered necessary to successfully perform the position.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Great customer service
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Greet all visitors, campers, and staff with a professional and friendly attitude
- Act as a positive role model for campers and other staff, demonstrating the values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility in the performance of job duties

Responsibilities
- Cleaning of camper lodges/bathrooms
- Keep bathroom areas stocked and supplied
- Safety/Risk Management (ServSafe recommended)
- Will be required to work some stay over weekends as assigned
- Assist with dishwashing before/after meals
