About The Position

C&W Services is the industry leader in cutting-edge maintenance and janitorial programs for facilities ranging from corporate office portfolios and manufacturing plants to large public venues, keeping our client’s facility running smoothly all the time. This role is responsible for performing housekeeping and janitorial duties to maintain offices, restrooms, and public areas in a clean and orderly condition. The position also involves assisting other service personnel with minor facility service repairs and maintaining personal tools required for the job.

Requirements

Must be able to work in a team-oriented and safety-conscious environment.
Adhere to 'Safety First' expectations, including PJHA process, Observation process, and compliance with all company/site safety guidelines and procedures.
Must be able to use hand tools and cleaning machinery on a daily basis such as floor sweepers and brooms.
Must have the flexibility to work all shifts including holidays and weekends as demanded by the job.

Meet physical requirements of the job.
Maintain good attendance in accordance with Company policy.

Substantial lifting (up to 50 pounds) is required.
Ability to move for extended or continuous periods of time.
Ability to ascend and descend staircases, ladders, and/or step stools.
Ability to operate applicable hand tools, power tools, and equipment.
Ability to operate forklifts or other vehicles in a safe manner.
Ability to wear a respirator while performing job duties.

Nice To Haves

Two years’ experience in Janitorial / Custodial applications desirable.

Responsibilities

Perform housekeeping and janitorial duties to maintain offices, restrooms, and public areas in clean and orderly condition.
Remove trash from offices and other work areas.
Strip and wax floors, burnish waxed floors, clean and maintain carpeted floors, and floor scrub ceramic tile floors.
Assist other service personnel with minor facility service repairs.
Follow established routines and perform any other duties assigned by a supervisor.
Use hand tools and cleaning machinery such as floor sweepers and brooms on a daily basis.
Comply with all company/customer regulations, policies, and procedures.
Achieve performance expectations set forth as part of performance appraisals, including employee development planning.
Communicate with all team members to assist in the development of short- and long-range planning in support of company goals and objectives.
Maintain personal tools required for the job.
Meet physical requirements of the job.
