About The Position

The Janitorial Technician is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall condition of the community's common areas to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents and guests.

Requirements

  • Previous janitorial, housekeeping, groundskeeping, or property maintenance experience preferred.
  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to safely operate standard cleaning equipment and tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean community.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good communication skills and ability to provide updates to management.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning methods, products, and safety practices.
  • Ability to identify and report maintenance or safety issues.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including walking, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, and standing for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of janitorial, custodial, groundskeeping, or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain the pool house, including hallways, restrooms, and other common areas.
  • Clean all exterior common areas, including: Tennis courts, Walkways and pathways, Stairwells, Sidewalks, Curblines, Parking lots, Trash stations.
  • Collect and dispose of litter and debris throughout the property.
  • Replace light bulbs in common area fixtures that are safely within reach.
  • Perform routine property inspections and identify maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Provide status updates and inspection reports to the Community Association Manager (CAM).
  • Assist with light snow removal and ice treatment during inclement weather, as needed.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform general maintenance responsibilities as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support community operations.
