About The Position

This position is responsible for creating cleaner and healthier environments for our customers by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities. Other duties may be Assigned: Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures. Cleaning duties include sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash removal, restroom sanitizing, vacuuming, moving furniture and equipment, and more. Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment. Use of proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required. Open and lock facilities, enable and disable security systems as required. Demonstrate a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and positive demeanor. The ability to be flexible and work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail is a must. Contribute to a positive work climate and support the team by being in uniform, reliable, dependable, and on time. Demonstrates respect and understanding for co-workers and customers.

Requirements

  • Ability to read cleaning instructions
  • Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses
  • Ability to transition in and out of vehicles
  • Ability to navigate stairs
  • Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching overhead, reaching forward
  • Must be able to lift and/or carry 25lbs

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper
  • Experience working for a professional janitorial company, office complex, hotel, hospital, or school
