About The Position

The Janitorial Tech position is responsible for maintaining all facility cleanliness and up keep including, but not limited to sanitation and heavy duty cleaning. Crossroads is an Arizona Department of Health Services licensed substance abuse treatment provider with proven expertise in serving men, women, and Veterans with Substance Use Disorder through the provision of high quality, successful, and affordable residential and outpatient recovery programs. Due to federal contracts the following items are prohibited: Medical/Recreational marijuana, current parole, or probation.

Requirements

• Current CPR/First Aid/Narcan training.
• Current and annual negative TB Test.
• Successfully pass a background check and an Arizona Department of Health Services Adult Protective Services check.
• Demonstrated strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of chemical usage and safety, utilizing Material Data Safety Sheets.
• Ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Valid AZ Driver’s License.

Nice To Haves

• Current and valid Fingerprint Clearance Card, preferred.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check performed annually and upon hire, preferred.
• 1 year related experience, and/or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for cleaning buildings, removing debris, and keeping all areas neat and tidy.
• Vacuums, sweeps, mopping, shampoos carpet, empties trash receptacles, and replace lining of trash cans.
• Maintain janitorial inventory.
• Responsible for alerting Supervisor of any unusual occurrence and/or damage that may occur.
• Maintain a professional, courteous manner with clients, vendors, contractors, and staff.
• Maintain inter-office privacy and confidentiality.
• Perform other duties, as required.
