About The Position

The Janitorial Support role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within our clubhouse and banquet facilities. This position focuses on performing routine cleaning tasks to ensure that all areas meet established hygiene and safety standards. This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete daily cleaning schedules.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods of time
Basic understanding of cleaning procedures and safety standards
Reliable transportation to and from the job site
Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays, if required
Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisor
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in janitorial or custodial services
Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and chemicals
Certification in OSHA or other relevant safety training

Responsibilities

Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, bathroom cleaning, and trash removal in assigned areas
Sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure all fixtures are clean and operational
Maintain cleaning equipment and report any maintenance or repair needs promptly
Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals according to guidelines to ensure a safe environment
Assist with linen laundry, ironing, special cleaning projects, and respond to urgent cleaning requests as needed
