About The Position

The Supervisor reports to the Senior Operation Manager and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of employees within the shift and assigned buildings. This role carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s policies and applicable State and Federal laws. The Janitorial Supervisor assists in managing the overall activities of a project(s), supervises the project crew, and coordinates services activities for assigned buildings, ensuring services are performed as contracted and meet customer specifications. This position also involves maintaining work schedules, conducting quality assurance checks, managing inventory and equipment, resolving on-site issues, participating in training, conducting new employee orientations, and maintaining effective customer relations.

Requirements

  • One to three years of supervisory experience.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of cleaning practices/procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Motivated individual and proactive.
  • Background check required.
  • Must be able to use computer for emails, client work order systems etc..
  • Required shift is second Monday - Friday from 4:30pm to 12:30am.

  • May need to work after hours, or before shift for emergencies or weekends during a special project request.

Responsibilities

  • Overall direction, coordination and evaluation of employees within the shift and assigned buildings.
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s policies and applicable State and Federal laws.
  • Assist in managing the overall activities of a project(s), and supervises the project crew.
  • Coordinate services activities for assigned buildings.
  • Ensure that services are performed as contracted and meet the customer specifications.
  • Maintain/monitor work schedules of all shift personnel, including the preparation and submission of weekly payroll time sheets.
  • Establish/maintain work performance standards.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks and manages materials inventory as well as general use of equipment, including key controls.
  • Resolve on-site services delivery problems.
  • Participate in on-going management/technical skills development training programs, including safety and safety site committee.
  • Conduct orientation of new employees, develops employees’ skills/abilities.
  • Perform conference room set ups and sometimes internal moves as needed.
  • Maintain effective on-going customer relations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
