About The Position

Licking/Knox Goodwill Industries, Inc. provides training, employment, and support services to individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment. This full-time, second shift position involves supervising, training, and directing Goodwill Employees at I-70 Interstate Rest Stop Areas and various sites throughout Licking & Muskingum Counties. The role requires ensuring contract operational needs are met, managing supplies and equipment, maintaining customer communication, and keeping accurate records.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old
High School diploma or GED required
Minimum 2 years of janitorial experience, with at least 1 yr supervisory or team lead role
Pass background check and drug screen
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Computer proficiency in scheduling, reporting and communication tasks
Have a valid Ohio driver’s license with clean driving record (Will be driving company car)
Work outside in inclement weather
Stand, climb stairs, and walk long distances for 2 hours
Bend, twist, stoop, squat, reach, lift 35 pounds. Weight requirement of 50 pounds if performing floor work
Must be able to work flexible hours, nights and weekends

Responsibilities

Supervise, train, direct and assist Goodwill Employees
Comply with company policies, procedures, safety practices, and enforce laws and regulations
Prepare and coordinate cleaning schedules to meet contracts operational needs
Ensure all janitorial supplies and equipment are ordered in a timely manner
Maintain regular customer communication and respond to concerns and service requests
Maintain accurate records, log notes, employee files, reports and correspondence as required
Fill in during staff absences to ensure all cleaning requirements are met
All other duties as assigned
