About The Position

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and experienced Janitorial Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the daily operations of our janitorial staff in a large shopping mall. The ideal candidate will ensure that all cleaning and maintenance tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of janitorial or custodial experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a team effectively.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays if required.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• OSHA certification or other relevant safety training.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the work of janitorial staff across assigned facilities.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
• Train new employees on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and equipment use.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; place orders as needed.
• Develop and maintain cleaning schedules and task checklists.
• Address and resolve any issues or complaints related to janitorial services.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Report maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department.
