About The Position
Full-Service Facility Maintenance company offering a wide range of janitorial services for industrial, commercial, and construction customers throughout Ohio for the past 30 years. This position involves overseeing a crew of cleaning personnel in a large commercial office building in Mason, Ohio. The role includes coordinating and supervising on-site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, training new employees, assisting with employee reviews, managing supplies and equipment, and collaborating with upper management.
Requirements
- Must pass criminal background check
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have experience supervising cleaning/janitorial crews
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise on site activities, including worker assignments and task prioritization
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards
- Perform regular building walk-through's and inspections.
- Providing orientation and oversee the training of new employees.
- Assist Management in writing employee reviews and disciplinary write ups.
- Replenish supplies
- Maintain and repair equipment
- Fill in for absent employees.
- Collaborate with upper management to ensure smooth project execution
- Maintain accurate records of site activities, progress reports, and incident reports
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to minimize workplace hazards
- Provide leadership and guidance to on-site team members, fostering a positive work environment
- Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues as they arise, taking decisive actions when necessary
