JANITORIAL SERVICE WORKER FT
About The Position
PACE Enterprises is seeking a dependable Janitorial Worker to provide cleaning and sanitation services at a KOA Campground location in Morgantown, WV. The employee will be employed by PACE Enterprises and assigned to work under the day-to-day direction of KOA management. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for campground guests through the cleaning and turnover of cabins, bathhouses, shower facilities, and common areas. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently while meeting established cleanliness standards.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Ability to maintain attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to interact professionally with campground guests and staff.
- Ability to safely use cleaning products and equipment.
- Ability to pass WV Cares Background Screening.
Nice To Haves
- Previous janitorial, housekeeping, hospitality, or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare campground cabins between guest stays.
- Clean and sanitize campground restrooms, shower houses, cabins, and related facilities.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize assigned areas.
- Clean windows, mirrors, doors, fixtures, and other surfaces as needed.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
- Restock restroom supplies, including soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
- Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, damaged property, or supply needs to KOA management.
- Follow all safety procedures and proper use of cleaning products and equipment.
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive working relationship with campground staff and guests.
- Perform seasonal or special cleaning projects as assigned.
- Assist with maintaining cleanliness in common areas and guest-use facilities.
- Note: This position does not include responsibility for laundering linens, bedding, or guest laundry services.
