About The Position

The Janitorial Project Manager is responsible for overseeing operations at a designated site or group of sites within a specific market. This role focuses on delivering operational excellence by leading teams, managing day-to-day activities, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. As a client-facing leader, the Janitorial Project Manager aligns operational programs with organizational standards to consistently deliver high-quality service outcomes.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in distribution and/or fulfillment center operations (required).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and achieve results through others
  • Strong process improvement and continuous improvement capabilities
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with empathy, patience, and professionalism
  • Effective conflict resolution and negotiation abilities
  • Superior organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and maintain operational standards, performance metrics, and program execution across all assigned client fulfillment centers.
  • Foster a customer-centric culture by implementing strategies that enhance communication, service quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with all processes, procedures, and documentation requirements.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships through clear, respectful, and professional communication.
  • Provide accurate and timely updates to clients, employees, and leadership.
  • Identify operational challenges and implement effective, data-driven solutions.
  • Utilize analytics and sound judgment to guide decision-making.
  • Recruit, develop, and mentor shift leads and management personnel.
  • Promote a positive work environment and establish a strong culture of safety.
  • Set clear expectations, ensure accountability, and support employee development through coaching and feedback.
  • Take ownership of operational programs and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Perform additional duties and support special projects as assigned.
