About The Position

As part of our evening janitorial team in Northwest Houston, you'll create cleaner, healthier environments for our customers, their students, and the grounds. This role involves facility cleaning, maintaining inventory, ensuring safety with proper PPE, and site security. The company, ServiceMaster, has over 60 years of experience and is a respected professional cleaning company.

Ability to read cleaning instructions and distinguish between cleaning products and their proper uses.

Nice To Haves

2 years of experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper.
Experience with a professional janitorial company, office complex, hotel, hospital, or school is a plus.
On-the-job training provided for those with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

Sweep, mop, polish, remove trash, clean windows, and move furniture and equipment using ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures.
Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
Use proper PPE where required, including hard-toe shoes, hard hat, and safety vest.
Open and lock facilities, and arm and disarm security systems as required.
Other duties as assigned.
