Janitorial Maintenance Custodian
About The Position
NuWaves RF Solutions is seeking a reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented Janitorial Maintenance Custodian to maintain cleanliness, organization, and general upkeep across two company facilities in the Middletown, Ohio area. The role involves routine janitorial services, light maintenance, and facility upkeep at both locations. The position is part-time, with 20–25 hours per week expected on average, and pays $18.00–$23.00 per hour based on experience, qualifications, and skills. Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
- Dependable, punctual, and organized.
- Ability to travel between the two company facilities as required.
- Ability to perform physical duties, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and moving cleaning supplies.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and written or verbal instructions.
Nice To Haves
- Previous janitorial, custodial, or facility maintenance experience.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain offices, restrooms, break rooms, conference rooms, hallways, and common areas at both facilities.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and maintain floors and other surfaces.
- Empty trash and recycling containers and ensure proper waste disposal.
- Replenish restroom supplies and janitorial materials as needed.
- Perform routine facility inspections and report maintenance concerns.
- Complete minor repairs and general upkeep tasks as assigned.
- Maintain cleaning equipment, tools, and supply storage areas.
- Help maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment.
- Follow company safety procedures and proper cleaning chemical-handling practices.
- Coordinate cleaning and maintenance responsibilities between both facilities.
- Identify and communicate facility issues requiring additional attention.
- Perform other custodial and facility maintenance duties as needed.
