About The Position

Challenge Enterprises of North Florida, Inc. is seeking a dependable and motivated Commercial Contract Lead Worker to support our janitorial contract operations. This position plays a key role in supervising employees, supporting individuals with disabilities in the workplace, conducting site visits, monitoring quality standards, and maintaining positive customer relationships. The ideal candidate is a team-oriented leader with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to helping employees succeed while ensuring contract requirements are met.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of Challenge Enterprises Commercial Contract Lead Worker responsibilities
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when necessary
Must pass FDLE and local background screenings
Must pass DMV screening

Nice To Haves

Previous supervisory or team lead experience
Experience working in janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning environments
Familiarity with safety procedures and SDS documentation
Experience operating commercial cleaning equipment

Responsibilities

Support and promote the mission of Challenge Enterprises of North Florida, Inc.
Work effectively with individuals with disabilities and provide positive reinforcement to support their success
Supervise personnel at contract locations as directed by the Project Manager
Assist with employee training, coaching, and performance support
Conduct safety training and maintain written documentation related to safety procedures and SDS sheets
Communicate effectively with staff, individuals served, and management
Follow daily work assignments and priorities as directed by the Project Manager
Schedule and conduct weekly site visits to support contract operations
Deliver supplies and equipment as needed
Monitor equipment maintenance and operational needs
Conduct quality control inspections and address site-related concerns
Ensure contract work is completed accurately and according to customer expectations
Verify employee tasks for quality, accuracy, and thoroughness
Maintain positive and professional communication with customers
Address customer concerns and communicate information to the Project Manager
Represent Challenge Enterprises professionally at all contract locations
Maintain an understanding of each site's Statement of Work and contract requirements
Perform janitorial duties as needed to support operations
Assist with floor care and operation of cleaning equipment when required
Assume responsibility for site operations in the absence of the Project Manager
Perform additional duties as assigned
