About The Position
Friendship Village Apartments is seeking a dependable, hardworking Janitorial Grounds person to support the cleanliness, appearance, and day-to-day upkeep of their apartment community. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in a job well done, and values a flexible part-time schedule. The role involves keeping common areas and grounds clean, safe, and well-maintained, preparing apartments for new residents, maintaining landscaping and curb appeal, assisting with light maintenance tasks, identifying and reporting maintenance or safety concerns, and helping to create a positive living experience for residents.

Nice To Haves
- Janitorial, landscaping, housekeeping, or maintenance experience is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Keep common areas and grounds clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Prepare apartments for new residents.
- Maintain landscaping and curb appeal.
- Assist with light maintenance tasks.
- Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Help create a positive living experience for residents.
Benefits
- Competitive pay: Starting at $18.50 per hour, based on experience, plus the potential to earn a 2.5% incentive bonus.
- Flexible part-time hours: 20 hours per week.
- Great benefits that start after 30 days or less: Start on the 1st of the month after your hire date.

- 403B retirement plan up to 5%, the company contributes 3% regardless of an employee’s contribution. Additionally, the company matches 2% of the amount an employee contributes.
