About The Position

The Facilities Group Hawaii (TFG HI), a combination of two local companies with over 50 years of experience providing facilities maintenance services in Hawaii, provides commercial building maintenance and cleaning services. The Janitorial Floater services various client properties across the island, including office suites, professional buildings, educational and medical facilities, and financial institutions. The role represents the company to its clients and contributes to a positive impression of client businesses.

Janitorial Floaters are essential members of the Operations team. They are expected to be reliable, hardworking, self-motivated professionals with high standards for customer satisfaction and problem solving. The role involves traveling between client sites as assigned, maintaining cleanliness, using appropriate cleaning products and methods, and communicating effectively with customers and coworkers. The schedule is flexible and may include any day of the week; shifts vary according to business needs and may begin as early as 6:00 AM. Applicants must be able to work nights and weekends.

The position is part-time and offers competitive hourly pay, medical benefits, and a 401(k). Hiring is contingent on clearing a criminal background check. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States; the company uses E-Verify.

Requirements
