About The Position
This position is responsible for creating cleaner and healthier environments for our customer’s buildings and grounds by performing various cleaning duties. Duties include but are not limited to: Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures. Sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash removal, restroom cleaning, windows, dusting. Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment. Use proper PPE where required. Opens and locks facilities, enable and disable security system as required.
Requirements
- Must be available early evenings
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean record & reliable transportation
- Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, twisting, reaching
- Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25lbs
- Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses
- Perform work within production time budgets and supply budgets
- Keep equipment clean and in good operating condition
- Follow all safety rules and participate in the company’s safety program
- Adhere to company rules, policies, and operating procedures
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Self motivated and proactive individual
- The ability to be flexible and work at a fast pace
- Contribute to the overall team effort including being in uniform, dependable, and on time
- Treat all co-workers and customers with courtesy and respect
Nice To Haves
- Ability to perform hard floor and carpet project work is helpful
Responsibilities
- Fill in at various locations when extra help is needed and when personnel need time off
- Train new employees in cleaning methods at various accounts
- Provide support to our management team
- Assist with special projects and tasks
- Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures
