About The Position
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Day Porter to join our team in Chattanooga. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for employees and visitors during daytime hours. If you have a strong work ethic, an eye for cleanliness, and at least one year of cleaning experience, we want to hear from you!
Requirements
- 1+ years of janitorial, custodial, or day porter experience required.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. repetitively, as well as stand, walk, and bend for the duration of the shift.
- Strong attendance record and punctuality for the 6:00 AM start time.
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check and a drug screen.
Responsibilities
- Replenish restrooms and breakrooms with paper products, soap, and essential supplies.
- Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, pulling trash, and sweeping.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms throughout the shift to maintain high hygienic standards.
- Safely store away cleaning supplies and complete other facility-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
