About The Position
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Day Porter to join our team at a premier commercial property in downtown Nashville. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining a clean, welcoming, and professional environment for tenants and visitors during daytime business hours.
Requirements
- 1 year of commercial cleaning, janitorial, or housekeeping experience is required.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs repetitively and remain on your feet for the duration of the shift.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a professional attitude.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, and sweeping/mopping.
- Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms and breakrooms throughout the shift.
- Monitor and empty trash, recycling, and debris bins regularly.
- Efficiently organize and put away incoming cleaning and building supplies.
- Respond promptly and professionally to immediate cleaning requests or spills.
- Complete other general cleaning duties as assigned by the site supervisor.
