About The Position

This position will be responsible for the cleaning of various buildings on the grounds of the Air National Guard. Quality assurance, maintaining overhead costs, and ensuring high customer service standards are the major tasks associated with this position. Requirements

• Previous custodial or janitorial experience
• Strong organization skills with accurate attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to multi- task
• Good customer service skills
• Able to adapt and work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to function as part of a cohesive team
• Previous cleaning experience required
• Capable of walking between buildings to get to other locations
• Must be capable of standing for several hours
• Must be able to moving arms back and forth in a “mopping” motion
• Must be able to lift >20 lbs
• Must be able to push a shovel
• Must be able to climb stairs
• Work alongside co-workers within 3 feet
• Must be able to reach overhead to get at higher locations

Nice To Haves

• knowledge of scrubbers or auto-buffers a plus

Responsibilities

• Floor Care (knowledge of scrubbers or auto-buffers a plus)
• Cleaning of restrooms
• Window cleaning
• Removing of trash and recyclables
• Vacuuming & Dusting
• Deep cleaning as instructed
• Possible snow removal
• Works as part of a team to ensure the requirements of the contract are fulfilled
• Additional tasks as assigned by supervisor
