About The Position

Sawgrass Cleaning Solutions is hiring a part-time evening Janitorial Cleaning Supervisor to oversee cleaning crews at multiple client sites across Palm Beach County, with occasional travel to Broward County. The company cleans schools, churches, bank branches, condominium associations, and offices, and uses Swept to track and communicate cleaning quality. The supervisor will train staff, inspect buildings, cover open shifts, perform detail cleaning and special projects, and report to the Director of Operations. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 6:00 PM to approximately 10:30 PM, for 20 to 30 hours per week, with Saturday availability as needed. Pay is $17 to $19 per hour based on experience. Employment is contingent on passing a background check; some client sites may require additional screening. The company participates in E-Verify.

Requirements

• Commercial cleaning or janitorial experience; supervisory experience is preferred.
• Must speak Spanish to train and supervise Spanish-speaking staff.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Comfortable using a smartphone app to complete inspections and reports.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods.
• Available Monday through Friday starting at 6:00 PM, with Saturday availability as needed.
• Valid Florida driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and current auto insurance meeting or exceeding Florida’s minimum coverage requirements. Proof is required before hire and must remain current during employment.
• Pass a background check; additional screening may be required at some client sites.

Nice To Haves

• Supervisory experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish ability.
• Floor care experience, including stripping, waxing, and carpet extraction; the company will train the right person.

Responsibilities

• Train new cleaning staff on the company’s standards, procedures, and safety practices.
• Cover open shifts when team members are absent.
• Perform detail cleaning tasks and special projects, including floor care.
• Inspect buildings using Swept, the company’s inspection and communication app.
• Supervise cleaning crews across multiple job sites during evening shifts.
• Report staffing matters, supply needs, and client concerns to the Director of Operations.
• Travel between client job sites, primarily in Palm Beach County and occasionally in Broward County.
