Four Star Seafood is a leading provider of fresh, high-quality seafood to restaurants, chefs, and consumers in the Los Angeles Area. We are seeking a dedicated, reliable, and motivated professional to join our Janitorial Team. You will be responsible for the high level of cleanliness and housekeeping duties for the warehouse and office areas.

Requirements

Minimum of 6 months janitorial/housekeeping experience.
Takes pride in work and respects team members.
Dependable and Punctual.
Available to work weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
High attention to detail and organized.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Ability to work in cold/freezing conditions.
Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
Familiarity with OSHA standards and safety practices in a warehouse setting.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
Good communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors effectively.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Positive and professional attitude and excellent customer service skills.
Speak English fluently and coherently (Bilingual is a plus)
Ability to work in cold/freezing conditions.
Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 lbs. onto waist-high shelves.
Frequent bending at waist/knees.
Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands/fingers.
Exposure to a multi-temp, food production environment.
Required to work in refrigerated and frozen environments, near noisy machinery, and confined spaces as part of daily production activities.

Responsibilities

Clean the warehouse, seafood processing areas, freezers, kitchen, lobby, restrooms, corridors, and stairways.
Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors.
Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture and draperies.
Dust furniture, wash walls, ceilings, windows, door panels and sills.
Empty wastebaskets and trash bins.
Replenishes bathroom supplies and replace light bulbs.
Perform all other duties or special projects as assigned.
Maintain a positive working relationship with all levels of the organization.
Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and safety.
Report any issues, concerns, or discrepancies to managers immediately.
