We are currently seeking enthusiastic Janitorial Cleaners for our GM Plant location in Lake Orion, MI.

Requirements

Previous experience in industrial or janitorial cleaning is considered an asset
Availability to work overtime and weekends as required
Motivated and self-driven, with a willingness to learn
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Minimum High School diploma or equivalent
Must be able to reliably commute to Lake Orion, MI for work

Responsibilities

Deep clean and maintain common areas, bathrooms, breakrooms, hallways, and office spaces
Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces throughout the facility and manufacturing areas/equipment as required
Utilize provided cleaning equipment and chemicals
Abide by all health and safety policies, practices, and procedures
Lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift to move materials and carry supplies
Perform physically repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment, including bending, lifting, pushing/pulling, using stairs, reaching, scrubbing, prolonged standing, and walking
Follow all company and site instructions and building protocols
Other duties as assigned
