About The Position
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Cleaner to join our team in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitized, and safe environment within a medical facility. This role requires thorough cleaning and disinfection of all areas, with a focus on high-touch surfaces and patient care spaces.
Requirements
- Prior janitorial or cleaning experience preferred, especially within healthcare or medical facilities
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Reliable and punctual
- Knowledge of proper cleaning and disinfecting procedures
- Must pass background check
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning of medical facility areas including patient rooms, exam rooms, restrooms, waiting areas, and common spaces
- Disinfect high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, light switches, and equipment
- Ensure all areas are cleaned thoroughly and to the highest standards
- Follow proper safety and cleaning protocols using hospital-grade disinfectants
- Maintain cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
