About The Position

ABM is seeking a reliable Janitorial Cleaner to perform a variety of cleaning duties and help maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment across assigned facilities. The role supports the appearance and sanitation of the workplace and contributes to a positive experience for employees, clients, and visitors. The position is at 825 E Douglas Ave, Wichita, KS 67202, and is scheduled Monday through Friday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Pay is $14.50 per hour. ABM describes this as a good job for someone entering or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education. Veterans and candidates with military experience are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or general cleaning roles is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygiene standards are met.
Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste in accordance with company policies.
Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
Maintain and properly store cleaning equipment and supplies.
Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor.
Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects as needed.
Follow safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation.
