About The Position

ABM is seeking a reliable, experienced Janitorial Cleaner to perform a variety of cleaning duties and maintain a clean, safe, orderly, and sanitary environment across assigned facilities. The role contributes to the workplace’s overall appearance and sanitation and supports a positive experience for employees, clients, and visitors.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Pay is $18.45 per hour. A specific offer may vary based on experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. ABM describes this as a good job for someone entering or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or general cleaning roles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygiene standards are met.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste in accordance with company policies.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
• Maintain and properly store cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and supply shortages to the supervisor.
• Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation.
