About The Position

ABM is seeking a reliable and experienced Janitorial Cleaner to perform a variety of cleaning duties across assigned facilities. The role helps maintain a clean, safe, orderly, and sanitary workplace, supporting a positive experience for employees, clients, and visitors. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 5:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., and the listed pay rate is $20.00 per hour. Actual offers may vary based on experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and market data.

This role may be suitable for someone entering or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education. Previous janitorial, custodial, or general cleaning experience is a plus. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or general cleaning roles is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygiene standards are met.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste in accordance with company policies.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
• Maintain and properly store cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor.
• Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation.
