The Janitorial Attendant works at designated locations in Shelbyville, Kentucky, for a cleaning company with multiple work locations in Kentucky, Southern Indiana, and Tennessee. Requirements

• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to perform activities that may include bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching above the head, and pushing and pulling a janitorial cart.
• Ability to potentially clean areas containing bodily fluids, such as blood or vomit.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff and service clients.
• Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum assigned areas.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and other areas designated by a supervisor.
• Gather and dispose of trash.
• Clean windows when needed.
• Disinfect areas as directed by a supervisor.
• Notify a supervisor of deficiencies or required repairs.
• Stock and maintain cleaning supplies, using them to avoid waste.
• Document cleaning activities using a daily checklist.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with customers.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company policies.
• Maintain a professional and clean appearance.
