About The Position

Meyer Distributing is a complete wholesale distributor serving automotive, RV/towing, outdoor living, and marine industries, with over 130 locations nationwide. Meyer Logistics, a transportation company with a fleet of over 500 trucks, supports Meyer Distributing's shipping network. The Janitorial Associate is responsible for the general cleaning and upkeep of our facilities. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 6 AM to 3 PM, with a pay rate of $16-$21 per hour, based on experience. A high school diploma or GED and a valid AZ driver's license are required. Previous cleaning experience is a plus.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
Valid AZ driver's license
Must be able to work on feet for an extended period of time
Must have basic knowledge of chemicals and their uses
Must be knowledgeable and familiar with all aspects of custodial service
Must be willing to work evenings
Must be able to work independently
Must have some computer experience and ability to learn the supply ordering system
Steel Toed Boots or Shoes

Nice To Haves

Previous cleaning experience a plus

Responsibilities

Sweep, mop and vacuum
Dust and wipe clean all furniture
Restroom cleaning - detailed cleaning and sanitizing, and restocking
Break room cleaning includes microwaves, counters, sinks, refrigerator, and tables and chairs
Empty wastebaskets and trash cans
Use proper cleaning supplies and equipment for the job
Practice safety always
Ordering supplies and shipping to other locations
All other duties assigned
