About The Position

A growing manufacturing company in the Portland, TN area is seeking a dependable Janitorial Associate to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized production facility. This is a part-time morning position that plays an important role in creating a safe working environment for all employees.

Requirements

• Previous experience operating a ride-on/drivable floor scrubber is required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Must be dependable and maintain regular attendance.
• Must have drivable floor scrubber experience

Nice To Haves

• Prior janitorial or industrial cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate a ride-on (drivable) floor scrubber to clean production floors and walkways.
• Sweep, mop, and maintain manufacturing and common areas.
• Empty trash and recycling containers throughout the facility.
• Clean restrooms, break rooms, offices, and other shared spaces.
• Replenish paper products, soap, and other janitorial supplies.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report any maintenance concerns.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Perform other general cleaning duties as assigned.
