About The Position
The Janitor keeps the building and grounds organized, tidy, clean & sanitary for all employees & public to use. Completes janitorial tasks on floors, carpets, & bathrooms. Assists with some maintenance duties.
Requirements
- High school degree.
- Must be a self-starter.
- Must be able to work under limited supervision.
- Must be well spoken, and detail oriented.
- Wiliness to learn new tasks.
- Ability to understand and follow directions for general work assignments.
Responsibilities
- Cleans buildings including, but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, garbage pick-up, bathroom maintenance (such as cleaning or plunging toilets, washing mirrors or floors, etc), and washing windows.
- Performs outdoor grounds maintenance such as snow removal, grass cutting and landscaping projects.
- Sets up conference room furniture.
- Delivers copy paper to departments.
- Picks-up trash to maintain orderly grounds and changes light bulbs.
