Job Summary: Maintain the cleanliness of offices, restrooms, lunch room, lobby and similar areas of the Distribution Center. Performs any related duties as required.

Requirements

Ability to operate all necessary power and manual cleaning and maintenance equipment.
Ability to read and follow sanitation checklists.
Ability to use a variety of solvents and chemicals.
Ability to respond to spills and accidents immediately.
Ability to be self-directed, dependable, demonstrate initiative and possess excellent time management skills.
Ability to prioritize and perform a variety of simultaneous tasks (multi-tasking).
Ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
Ability to learn safety and other WinCo Foods policies.
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, utilizing excellent verbal, written and inter-personal communication skills with fellow employees and supervisors.
Ability to work various shifts and days in a 24/7 operation; including night, weekends and holidays.
Ability to lift and maneuver objects of varying dimensions and weights up to approximately 50 lbs.
Ability to stand, walk and move rapidly for long periods of time.
Ability to bend, stoop, twist, turn, reach and climb frequently.
Ability to perform repetitive use of the hands continually.
Ability to perform primary duties with efficiency, accuracy honesty and integrity.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain floors by sweeping, mopping, stripping, waxing and buffing hard surface floors and vacuuming and shampooing carpets on a scheduled and as needed basis.
Dust, clean window, empty trash receptacles in all offices and restock as needed.
Clean and sanitize drinking fountains.
Clean and maintain employee lunchroom by emptying trash, cleaning trash and recycle receptacles, cleaning and sanitizing tables and counters, sweeping and mopping floor, cleaning kitchen appliances inside and out (i.e. refrigerators, microwaves, range and stove, etc.), make coffee and restock supplies and utensils.
Wipe down all walls and appliances (pop machines, vending machines, ATM, cases, rails, etc.)
Clean, sanitize and maintain restrooms by sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning and disinfecting toilets, urinals, emptying trash, cleaning and sanitizing trash receptacles, clean mirrors and sinks, refill paper and soap dispensers.
Clean and maintain outside tables, sweep walkways and pick up trash on the ground and empty trash in outside barrels in and around entrances.
Removes scuff marks from door kick plates.
Cleans doors, doorknobs, walls, lockers, vending machines, handrails, dispensers, receptacles, counters and tables throughout the office areas.
Stock copy machines with paper as needed.
Pick up morning mail.
Fill drink machines.
Place order for vending machines as needed.
Write supply orders.
Cooperates in a kind and courteous manner with employees and customers.
Performs other duties as assigned or required.
